"Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice" - Anton Chekhov

Welcome to Mrs. Ruffin's math website

I am excited to have this site up and running for all my parents and students. My personal goal for the classroom is to watch students grow to their full potential. I am delighted to have your child in my class this year and look forward to sharing the school year together with him/her. As a teacher, I will create an educational partnership with you and your child that will foster confidence, determination, and passion for math. In addition to this, my commitment as an educator will be to provide your child with a nurturing and challenging educational environment that will ensure his/her academic success in 6th grade and here at Henderson Middle School. This website was created with you in mind. Here you can find helpful math information, resources, and events.
